DEE ‘ C.A.N.O.E ’ GUIDE TO A HEALTHY LIVING

On Sunday  in church we had a sermon about living healthy and i also recently met a guy that is so obsessed with health; nutrition and calories that i subconsciously started to be mindful of my food and lifestyle.
earlier this year i had a 7days Detox to help me with the breakouts i had for so long and it worked.
so today, i decided to share with you some of what i have learnt so far.

the Preacher / Nutrition expert gave us this 5 rules he believes would help us;
  • manage diseases / sickness
  • avoid diseases / sickness
I learnt that only a few people reach the third stage of their life which is the yearning years.
a lot of people die at the earning years and that about 80% of Nigeria's population are in the learning years of their life.

Learning years   0 - 40yrs
Earning years   41 - 80yrs
Yearning years 81 - 120yrs

the C.A.N.O.E rule:





CLEANSE (detoxify) :
It is not a secret that Toxins cause diseases and to steer clear diseases you need to undergo a detox.

how to CLEANSE guide:

  • Eat the fiber of fruits (Eat the orange pith; white part of an orange) 
  • Use the toilet daily, if you can't seem to go try water with a squeeze of lime first thing in the morning.
  • Everything in the body should only be there for 24hrs.
  • Remove metabolic waste, heavy metals, radiation; our environment is full of radiation causative, telecommunication poles are an example, they are everywhere around us.
  • Eat fish with scales it saves toxins and heavy metals that are in the water and environment from entering into the fish. also remember that the bigger the fish the more poisonous it is.
  • Fast regularly, at least once a week. you can do a juice fast if you can't go straight fast.
  • Do regular organ/system cleanse.



  • SPIRITUAL PURITY; holy living. live a positive life filled with positive thoughts and energy.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL PURITY: personal hygiene, live in green area (it helps you get direct oxygen from plants and nature) and observe environmental sanitation




ALKALIZE: 
PH 7.35 - 7.45
Acidity has been linked to pain, excess weight and many other health issues. Fortunately, making your body more alkaline (the opposite of acidic) is easy.  Acidity ages people, impairs enzyme functions, reduces your oxygen absorption and viruses like low oxygen bodies.
Our diet should consist;
  • 20%  acid
  • 80%  alkaline
Acidity is caused by;
  • Meat, diary, chronic stress, allergic reactions, sugar, soft drinks, refined carbonhydrates, refined salt, chronic dehydration, prescription drugs, fast and fried foods.
how to ALKALIZE guide:

1. Start your day with a large glass of water with the juice of a whole, freshly-squeezed lemon. While lemons may seem acidic, they have the opposite effect on your body as it metabolizes them.
2. Eat a large green salad tossed in lemon juice and olive oil. Greens are among the best sources of alkaline minerals, like calcium.
3. Snack on raw, unsalted almonds. Almonds are packed with natural alkaline minerals like calcium and magnesium, which help to balance out acidity while balancing blood sugar.
4. Avoid cow’s milk, since it is acid-forming.
5. Go for a brisk walk or some other exercise. Exercise helps move acidic waste products so your body can better eliminate them.
6. Breathe deeply. Ideally, choose a spot that has fresh, oxygen-rich air. And, sorry Febreze, Glade, and all the other so-called “air fresheners”: air filled with these scents is not what I’m talking about here.
7. Go meat-free for a day… or longer if you like. During the metabolism of meat, there is an acid residue left behind.
8. Skip the sugar-laden dessert or soda.  Sugar is one of the most acidic foods we consume. You need over 30 glasses of neutral water just to neutralize the acidity of ONE can of soda.
9. Add more veggies to your diet. No, potatoes don’t count. But sweet potatoes are a good choice (provided you’re not slathering them in sweeteners or butter).  Asparagus, squash, peppers, and other vegetables are also excellent choices.
10. Sprout it out. Add more sprouts to your daily diet. They are extremely alkalizing and supercharged with nutrients and energy-boosting enzymes.




NOURISH;

how to NOURISH guide:

  • Eat Fresh fruits
  • Raw vegetable
  • Raw nuts
  • Freshly made smoothies
  • Freshly made vegetable juices
  • you need Macro nutrients in large quantities 
  • micro in normal quantities

Breakfast (7 - 8 am) 
  • No Cooked food
  • juices, fruits, smoothies
Lunch (12.30 - 1.30pm)
Dinner (6pm-7pm)





OXYGENATE:
Many people don't realize that oxygen is one of the primary catalysts for energy and optimal health in the human body.

Oxygen plays a vital role, not only in our breathing processes but in every metabolic process in the body. Nutrient compounds inside our cells are oxidized by enzymes and this oxidation process is our main source of energy.

In addition, healthy cells in the body are aerobic, meaning they require adequate levels of oxygen for cellular respiration and growth. When cells are deprived of oxygen for any reason, decay sets in and cells can mutate or die.
  • U can only survive without oxygen for 4mins
  • Oxygen Is Utilized in the Body
  • Oxygen Supports Body Detoxification


how to OXYGENATE guide:

  • Alkaline diet. 
  • Adequate Hydration. 
  • Proper Breathing. 
  • Daily Exercise.





ELIMINATE:
it is important to eliminate harmful habits and food from our daily routine, here are some;

how to ELIMINATE guide:

  • reduce Disease promoting food: e.g Sugar
  • stay away from Disease promoting Substances: cocaine and tobacco Habits.
  • stop late night eating
  • 30 mins exercise at least 4 days a week
  • Sleep atleast 6hrs aday


it is important to know that HEALTH is in all forms WEALTH, the healthier you are the wealthier you are.
As at 2010 there were about 1.9 million people above 90 years old in America, a statistics that is expected to quadruple by 2050. 
Also, in the UK there were 513,000 people over 90 in 2012.
i tried looking for nigeria's info but you know how we are.
In conclusion, we can all live a healthy life, lets start now.

Paddle this CANOE daily and watch as you sail healthy and age graceful into the yearning years of your life.
