Hi guys
Today fashion lingo Fridays bring to you the wedding/bridal lingo.

FLF X TREND REPORT X INSPIRATION = MULES
hey guys
yes FLF: fashion lingo Friday is back
I love fashion lingo Fridays because its educative as well as inspiring.

today we are talking shoes, MULES to be precise.
Growing up mules were often worn by older people, (even though I had a red low heeled one I wore with everything) and were mostly referred to as half-shoes or half-slippers at least in Nigeria, but now I know that the appropriate name is MULES.
Mule, a French word, is a style of shoe that is backless and often closed-toed. Mules can be any heel height - from flat to high. The style is predominantly (but not exclusively) worn by women. High-heeled mules were a popular indoor shoe style of the 18th century, influenced by the patten, a backless overshoe of the 16th century. By the early twentieth century, mules were often associated with prostitutes. (this I find funny).
In the early 1950s, Marilyn Monroe popularized the shoe helping break its poor reputation.
Mules experienced some popularity in the 1950s and early 1960s, and were seen in 1970s almost exclusively in the form of open-back Scandinavian clogs, but then re-emerged in the early 1990s, especially in its open-toed form (the "slide"), and began to dominate the shoe market for women.
FLF X FASHION LINGO X BAGS VOCABULARY I
hi guys!!!
its yet another fashion lingo Friday, and I have spent my day working on this post because I hate when I am trying to get a specific type of bag but don’t know the exact purse lingo for it.
this post is incredible large and I couldn't finish so I decided to share it in to halves...enjoy the first part!!!
Hobos are the most loved classic bags that every designer handbags must have in their collection. Its defined by its crescent shape and slouchy posture with a handle long enough to carry over shoulder. They are usually available in many colors and sizes and materials used are soft and flexible

IN DEE BEGINNING...
Welcome!!!
The Dee Mako project is a certification that being original, genuine, unpretentious, broke and stylish is a thing.
Before you go further, I would like to tell you a story.
It all started from"Momz" that is what I call my mother. When i was a child, she would buy me the most expensive clothes that looking back she probably couldn't afford. Then I grew up and realised that 'momz' didn't only buy me expensive clothes that made me look cute, she also managed to give me a voice and teach me something or two about style. Thankfully for momz, everyday since I became aware, I evolve and maybe even inspire. This is your one stop place for inspiration no matter your budget. Ask my friends they will tell you i'm a bargain hunter. My name is Desola Mako but please call me Dee.
P.S: I will work for travel.
