MEDDLE x ICONOLA

I guess its pretty glaring now that yellow is my favourite colour, It used to be purple but then it became a sort of sensation in 2008 and i lost interest in looking like everyone.

Yellow makes me feel so sunshiney and it reminds me of smileys and that song by the temptations that I love so much " I got sunshine on a cloudy day" . Everything about the colour unconsciously makes me happier.

These is what i wore to the l'original show and my friend zee from zee's zone who I featured first on the double dose segment wore the cute mix print two piece from Iconola Brand, Don't you just love?

Dressing up for events is usually a hassle for me, I always make sure to think of the major theme for an event and dress up with that in mind, for this show i put in mind that it was basically a fashion show, so for me the dress code was fashionably casual as opposed to the body hugging short dresses that a lot of people went for.

I must advise at this point that for any event you are attending,

it is better to dress appropriate and not fashionable than fashionable and not appropriate.

please bare that in mind.

My shirt dress was a gift from iconola brand and the pants is one half of the two piece i bought from bibire designs during their sales, A similar design in orange colour was worn on double dose. I decided to style my shirt dress in a classic, simple, easy and unique way by leaving the buttons open from my midriff and wearing it in Kimono - crop style crowning it with my tassle belt and I believe i killed it.
