TWIRL x MIX-MATCH

happy Monday guys!

I promise to stop this my new found love for too many pictures as soon as possible, hopefully before the end of this year...lol

How was your weekend? mine was spent delivering some orders for the MAKOSHOP, sleeping, catching up on some of my new series and attending an event yesterday by Joel Lani, a not so new leather accessories brand, i will be sharing more information about their brand before the end of the week.

Wearing Mismatch prints or mix and match prints as its is called is something that has been explored safely in my opinion, and even though the rule is to merge two prints that are not the same, the unspoken rule is to merge prints that work and play it safe. 

you have the polka x stripes, plaids x stripes, vertical x horizontal stripes, prints and patterns and so on. some of my favourite explored print would be tribal prints, that is two types of Ankara but most people always use two different colours as oppose to patterns.

This top is one of those tops that you wear and every one loves, its a circle top so it twirls so beautifully, while the skirt which is a new in, has the same flare characteristic and twirly feature.

apart from the green accent on both prints which is in no way obvious, the twirly nature is the only thing this pieces have in common.

they in no way agree and merge but I just really love how imperfectly perfect they both look together.

In my opinion the new rule for mix match should be if you love it Twirl in it..lol.

It also in someway reminds me of friendships, relationships and all the ships we sail in life that have little or nothing in common but produce the best feelings in the world.
