DO YOU OWN A NOTHING DRESS?
Now you are wondering what that is, A nothing dress is practically a dress that is not a dress and that really isn't anything because when you saw it you didn't understand what it is or what it was meant to be so its practically nothing...lol
this dress reminds me so much of the dress (bubu) i wore for the bloggers yard sale.
i found it during one of my plenty vintage hauls and i loved the fact that it could serve as a throw over which is nice and even when belted as a dress.
i hope to explore it more.
this right here would be my beach, weekend or casual look and you can be sure that i'm going to spend my weekend in my nothing dress.
HELLO THERE!!
I'm sharing my second post today and hopefully you will get another one tomorrow or on Sunday because its a long weekend we have ahead, well for those of you in Nigeria.
this weekend we will be voting in a new president for our country and so many people have sentimental ideas about who should be voted, why they should be voted and how much change they can actually achieve.
For me i'm just really about the personal change we all need.
Nigeria is really about 70% of what people think it is, Yes its a beautiful country and we are fashion savvy, extremely intelligent and we are technologically forward but we are also the corrupt people everyone perceives us to be, we have bad roads, there is so much illiteracy and backwardness around us and poverty is something that an average Nigerian experiences.
our leaders are greedy and would never have enough, ohh it reminds me so much of my favourite bible verse
PROVERBS 30VERSE 16 says
“There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, ‘Enough!’:the grave, the barren womb, land, which is never satisfied with water, and fire, which never says, ‘Enough!’
Nigerian Leaders need to be part of this list, because they are actually never satisfied. Our police guys have sold their soul and integrity for a quick buck and our bus drivers increase the fare at every little opportunity they get.
A beautiful country with not so beautiful souls.
our society as accepted bribery and corruption as its norms and values.
for me no government, presidency or governorship can change these.
we are what we all need, we need to vote ourselves for change and change our society by ourselves.
we need to renew our thinking and understand that God only blesses efforts and whatever we sow is exactly what we reap.
happy voting to all Nigerians!
Stay safe! stay United! Become the change we need.

This country needs intervention, the people need to follow the law and the people who put the damn law can't even follow it. Everyone around just think bout emselves only, the leaders are all there to enrich their pockets and cause more havoc. The police men would literally kill someone for money.
ReplyDeleteEveryone around is saying war is coming, I just think it's really opinionated people who feel their vote is the best that would cause problems. God will see us through.
Whenever I come to lag, girl I'm leaving in your closet. It totally looks like the bubu but way cuter. Love it and the neck piece is so cute. Photography game on point too
