The scoop:
their print co-ords and their new palazo pants

My market scoop/ brands I love today brings to you the Nigerian fashion brand Eve and Tribe.

Eve and tribe is gradually becoming one of my few favourite Nigerian brands.
Even though they don't produce in Nigeria, its so easy to fall in love with their brand as they produce for Nigerians.

Their prints, designs and fit are everything.
I found them in L'espace even though I had seen some of their old designs all over the blogosphere when they were still called Rukky Simone.

I was shopping for an outfit for my birthday and decided to pick some things from their stall coincidentally Rukky herself was there, her birthday was that day, so she had a little get together, it was a day before mine. She was so nice, friendly and easy.
I tried on a couple of their pieces, The fit was so perfect, the dress fitted nicely and cinched properly, the top and skirt was free enough and fitted rightly, and their Co-ords are everything.

For me Eve and tribe is a must have for everyone. You should at least own a piece from them.
They also have the happiest, ever smiling staffs and offer real good sales and discounts occasionally.

The only issue I have with them is that they have similar designs with their tops. They have a lot of tie neck blouses, I also wish they would explore more loose dresses because I would love to own those prints in maxis maybe the could even name it after me for this idea...lol.
A few of  my favourite outfit post wearing eve and tribe are here, here & here.
What do you think?
Have you ever tried or do you own their pieces?
If not like they say, Join the tribe!

Since moving back I have been looking into Nigerian brands. What I love about their collection is the practicality of the pieces and also the affordability. Although nothing from their collection really screams "buy it"to me, I'll proabably still be getting a few items from them. Hopefully the have a branch in Abuja, the online shopping thing is not really my favourite.

I actually don't have any piece from the brand & I think they have too many similar prints & regular designs (nothing out of the box). The prices are good tho

Eve and tribe is a high street brand, and I think that gives them some kind of leverage as per making what their customers like and demand for. Out of the box would be required from those that are fashion designers or claim to be. Though agreed, something out of the box ince in a while would be great. I like some of their pieces, and I would definitely buy if I get the chance to.

They make pretty things! But I agree that their designs/prints tend to be similar/repetitive.
