LEMON WHITE x CUSTOMER RELATIONS WAHALA

Hello guys!!!
so this post is one day late but you know you have to forgive me right? lol
I had to run from work to school yesterday and well the rest is TMI.

I got this pants about 2/3years back, i actually bought two white pants from a friends store at that time both of them Zara, but you know that white, jumping Lagos buses and the streets of lagos never agree, so i never really wear it but i love how it looks with this lemon top that i wore here.
i'm smitten by this look myself.

Did you see my rant about a certain restaurant on Sunday on IG?
well this is A SHORT REVISED version of  what happened.
I decided to go check out a restaurant i had been following on IG that posted really attractive pictures of continental dishes with my date on Sunday ( this was the 3rd date by the way), well we both left the mainland and decided to go to lekki.
somewhere in between the drive, I decided i wasn't feeling the place anymore and just wanted to eat sharwama..lol but you know the devil naa he must push you to anger and irritation.

we eventually got there after i did a little research on the location and address. i was super excited that i started taking pictures for a review from the exterior.

well i took about 4 shots and just as i entered trying to take pictures of the walk in, a really rude waiter comes up to me saying i'm not allowed to take pictures, i asked if she was sure and she said she wanted to ask her supervisor or manager, well we sat down started scrolling through the menu and we were even somewhat excited about trying some of the meals when the supervisor came.
he approached us and said that no one was allowed to take pictures, that all pictures online are taking by the restaurant.
At this point i told him this wasn't true because i had read reviews on a blog.
then he killed it by saying if you are buying food then you can take pictures of your food and that's all we allow... this was the point i decided we weren't going to eat there.

Costumer relations is something that we should all endeavor to understand and tap into, you can't just believe that even in my Sunday white and yes i was in white, my Sunday best i would come with a date sit down just to take pictures and not grab a bite.

the first question should have been, what will you like to eat or why do you need pictures.
and the last comment when we decided to leave after i had mentioned that we were obviously there to eat and i just wanted pictures for my blog, was to have been a Sorry but the manager/supervisor was too proud.

Anyways i have decided to withhold the name because the owner reached out to me and apologized but I and my friends won't be going there anytime soon.
do you have any similar experience? please do share.
P.s: the restaurant was even practically empty.

what you need to pick from this is customer relations as a price, that's the reason you should employ a graduate or school leaver as a worker instead of an illiterate and pay them to standard.
some of your staffs would just keep spoiling business for you if you compromise because you are looking for cheap labour.

Also this post would lead me to writing a new post on the problems of blogging in naija.
well that would be after i share some tips on multitasking that helps me balance work, school, blogging and fun.
have a great day ahead.

How unfortunate, there is nothing I hate more than bad customer service which is why I always tip when the service is great. I love this look, those pants have my name written all over it. I love the pairing with the top as well, I would totally rock that outfit from head to toe. Looking forward to your post on blogging in Nigeria as it will help me to be more prepared when I get back.

Sorry about that unfortunate experience. What you've mentioned relating to customer service is so true, how a customer is treated at a restaurant will determine if they are going to enjoy themselses and even come back to the place again. I love how you styled your outfit!!! Love, love, love it! :-)

The restaurant was practically empty, that's hilarious. I hate bad customer service ehn, I had an issue with konga's delivery guy last week too. He kept on yelling like I was his baby sister over the phone and when he finally delivered he was now forming familiarity. Really?!
