DOUBLE DOSE || MONOCHROMATIC POLY HUES

hey guys!!!

how you all doing? thank God its Friday!

I couldn't leave this week without bringing you a double dose post, as i'm starting to realize its becoming an audience fave.

today's double dose collaboration is between I and Titi Belo, some of you may know her as imperfect verbalista.

Titi and i go way back, we initially started blogging together at fashionitekture before life happened.

i would have vouched that Titi's favourite colour was black, so it was a surprise when she chose monochrome or better still, monochromatic shades as her theme.

Titi says that monochrome is something she is feeling at the moment and that her style is usually dependent on her mood.

she is wearing her own self named label that she launched at the Lagos Fashion and Design Week.

yes she is  head designer of Titi Belo and also blogs here .

I enjoyed working on this theme for a lot of reasons, first of all was the amazing cluelessness i felt.

i called titi and this was the conversation we had.

i: babe how far, you haven't told me the theme.

titi: monochrome

i: okay, white and black abi?

titi: no i'm wearing shades of a colour

i: okay! thats okay......okay i get! its okay. later.

(drops phone)

i: (to myself) titi wants to kill me.

anyways after all this, i waded and waded and waded through my wardrobe and i started with my shoes as the inspiration.

 it had to be a shoe colour i had, after i decided on orange, i didn't want to opt for the usual top and skirt or shorts, so i decided to layer different shades of orange.

i must tell you guys i really loved this so much, i hope to get more challenging themes like this that will explore my creativity.
