RECIPE: COCKTAIL - MARGARITA





HELLO GUYS!
You asked for it, my second favourite cocktail is margarita, there is something about tequila that has gotten me addicted to this cocktail.


The margarita is a cocktail consisting of tequilatriple sec (such as Cointreau) and lime or lemon juice, often served with salt on the rim of the glass. 
It is the most common tequila-based cocktail in the United States.The drink is served shaken with ice (on the rocks), blended with ice (frozen margarita), or without ice (straight up).
                              It is then served in a very wide-rimmed, shallow glass on a tall stem.




Ingredients:

1 1/2 Oz. Tequila
 1/2 Oz. Triple Sec (preferably Cointreau)
 1 1/2 Oz. Lime Juice
 1 Lime Wedge
 1 Cup Crushed Ice/ ice cubes
Salt

Recipe:

Rub the rim of a cocktail/ margarita glass with lime wedge/ juice from the lime slice, and dip and spin in salt. 
Add tequila, triple sec, ice and juice to blender and mix until smooth. 
Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into the glass carefully to avoid dislodge of any salt, 
Garnish with lime wedge and serve.

in Margarita Glass
with: lime wedge

Flavour:

Fruity/ hint of orange, sour (lime), tangy

Variations

other margaritas include strawberry, mango, peach, etc. (sweet fruits).
 These are usually made like the traditional margarita, with the fruit added into the blender prior to making a frozen margarita. These are a bit sweeter than the traditional lime margarita and mostly taste like the fruit that's been added.

Note:

When poured over ice its on the rocks.
 When blended with ice in a blender to make like a slushy it is called a frozen margarita.
