Yet another YEAR...GRATEFUL it's my BIRTHDAY

Set candles on the cake, 

light twenty three of them, 

add an extra one for the year I spent in the womb,

Move the cake over to me,

Because it's my birthday....

It's my birthday....yayyyyy!!!!

Oh God my creator I thank you.

Last year should have been more fun, it was on a Saturday and even though I had more close friends then, everyone I invited to spend the day with me was held up with something else, even my brother had a fashion show to attend that day. I felt so alone that day, and I spent the whole day with acquaintances that I had to drive around to parties.

Right there and then I decided that I wasn't going to celebrate it this year, which is why I am not.

Even though this year I lost a very important relationship in my life, my closest friend and I outgrew ourselves. I think I decided I wanted more, more effort, more commitment and more communication, not phone calls but more expressions and I wasn't getting it and I didn't see myself getting through to this friend so I decided to let go. I got so angry with myself and this friend that I couldn't stand this friend anymore and that was the end, I didn't even realize all this until I sat down to reflect on the negative energy i was exhuming when I was around this friend.

This is me saying that I have and  would always want more from people close to me and I'm ready to always be a better person also for my friends, life is too short, difficult and lonely to keep people that won't give you their all around you.

I miss a lot of the relationships and friendships I have lost, because I have had amazing friends even since my primary school days, but I really just want a better kind of company to spend this short and busy life with.

Apart from this there is so much to be thankful for today, it's yet another year of my life, it's close to Christmas and I like to believe its not just Christmas that is in the air DES-MAS is also in the air...lol

I'm thankful for life, the breath I take and the health I have. 

I get asked at work frequently if I'm an I.t student and that just says how blessed I am to be a senior staff. I have worked with the best people, created the best use of all my little opportunities, kept the best kind of friends and lived the best kind of life with the most amazing family.

There is more than enough to be thankful for....

Hope to be here next year also, maybe throw a party and have better relationships.
