MUSINGS || MADE IN NIGERIA

I would normally have written PROUDLY NIGERIAN for a post like this but well this is really a rant about how far back we are heading.
Nigeria is in BIG TROUBLE and we are spiralling backwards and no one is saying anything.
Hello there!!!
This weekend just like the past few weekends was shit.
Nigeria is a mess, there is no gas, petrol, diesel .
there is no power
No network because of this same gas problem
my phones are off
transportation is triple the price and
our government is shit.
the outgoing government is hiding under handing over
the incoming government in hiding under being handed over
so basically our government and country is on hold because of the hand over.
SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!
i'm super bitter at how much i have to pay to move around, to get to work.
I'm bitter that I have to pay triple or quadruple the price for transportation
I'm upset that petroleum which we should be producing can only be bought at the black market for
500 naira per liter as opposed to 87 naira per liter.
SHIT doesn't start to describe the hot powerless nights that we have.
PHCN is shit also!!!
Now we can finally tell our mothers and grandmothers we get their stories of a Lightless Nigeria.
we have finally experienced living in ancient times.
Globalisation is fast becoming a thing of the past
I just pray that i don't have to move to Ghana or Cameroon to continue to run this Blog.
Even banks are closing before time because they have no Power.
Businesses can't run
I'm starting to think that the masses in this Powerless (Electricity) country might actually really be
POWERLESS (Voice).
Maybe we really need to change that.
We need to understand that we can shout at our government and challenge them and change will happen.
all I really have to say is
POWER must CHANGE HANDS.
see you again when next there is POWER.

Damn, I hope after the whole handing over process things will get better, even if gradually. It sucks to see Nigeria like this :( :(
On another note, you look gorgeous!

Lol I feel your pain but I think the situation is worse in Lagos though, fuel is still sold here in some places for about 150n - 180n per litre, doesn't make it any better anyways but as usual, we'd overcome.
If it helps you look good and I like that bag, been wanting to get nude for a while, I keep seeing it and reminding myself, soon and very soon.
I missed this conference, how was it? It's pretty unfair that most of these things hold mostly in Lagos. :(

Don't bother moving to Ghana, there's no light there either. They are even protesting.
There was no work at my office for TWO days because there was no light/diesel. If you knew my office; you'd know just how epic that is.
Everything is just shitty! Cost of transportation, no fuel, no light.
I'm tired of complaining so I just have to hope things get better; I really hope so.

Suffering and smiling. Somehow your smile is even more beautiful as I read your words. Always remember that before the birth there is pain. Things will be back to normal shortly.
