hello guys!
hope you checked out the previous post about the shoes in my lust list...
I'm presently receiving gifts so feel free to send me any of them just because its Friday.
Ankara is an african Print fabric that as gained a lot of recognition thanks to celebrities like Beyonce and Katy Perry who are fashion trend' setters. But before it became a fashion statement it was the traditional fabric for we Africans, most especially Nigerians.
the Ankara is worn the most during the weekends, during owanbes and religious ceremonies, but officially, Friday seems to be a day dedicated for wearing native attires in Nigeria, and just like everyone else i joined the band wagon.
this is the last picture of my #nationalTheatreSeries.
i hope to have more pictures with this beautiful architecture backdrop soon.
have a great weekend, i will drop bye soonest.

Deleteim a huge Ankara fabric fan and presently trying to motivate myself into learning to sew simple clothes. they can be bloody expensive where i live and im not willing to part with a dime just yet(when you compare the Prices) call it being too nigerian,,,,i accept! lol. this idea of taking photos by the Theater is totally cool!!!
ReplyDeletei can imagine, learning how to sew is a bit stressful though, make sure to get an electric motor. i still haven't gotten one.
