"The techniques I use are always drawn from ancient costume designs. I usually just play with contrasts, and I love to layer and use materials that are not usually used in clothing (I have used furniture fabric on some of my pieces). Perhaps these are aspects that come off as futuristic"
Anne Sophie Madsen
Hi darlings!!!
I ran into this collection, while blog surfing.
Absolutely fantastic work of danish fashion designer and illustrator Anne Sofie Madsen.
My favourite sketch I should print this out and frame it.
Anne Sofie Madsen is a Danish designer based in Copenhagen with her collection presented in shops like Browns she has worked her way through a junior designer position atAlexander McQueen and atJohn Galliano before setting up her own label.
Amazing art right?
The cherrilee-s13 collection
Her inspiration has been transformed into her colour scales, animalistic prints and elements of horror.
The unknown and the monsters or deformed creatures on her inspiration board has been sculpted into the shapes of the garments, with skeletons, sheer or shipwreck pieces that prove to be sustainable and influenced by industrialisation and the mechanics. Although it all sounds very futuristic and advanced it is still wearable and can be washed at 40 degrees.

Other random works I love;
What do you think?
Do you love it like I do?
